The UK Scoliosis Clinic was created to provide up to date information, advice and conservative treatment for people with postural abnormalities such as scoliosis and hyper-kyphosis.

Dr Paul Irvine is a practising Doctor Of Chiropractic who graduated with a BSc. (UNSW) in 1995 and Master Of Chiropractic (Macquarie University, Australia) in 1997. He has focussed his practice upon the correction of postural and structural problems since 2003. He is certified in Chiropractic Biophysics, Scientific Exercise Approach To Scoliosis (SEAS), Scolibrace and completed the ISICO World Masters On Conservative Management Of Scoliosis.

Our scoliosis treatment and recommendations follow the guidelines of the International Scientific Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment called SOSORT. Our recommendations are based upon what is known in the scientific literature, what is in the best interest of the patient, what are the values of the patient and their family.

The success of the treatment of childhood and adolescent scoliosis depends not only upon the patient, but also on the strength and support of their family as well as the medical and health team.

There is a window of opportunity to conservatively treat scoliosis in the growing spine. That is why it is important for parents to choose proven methods to ensure the best chance of success.
